Identifying Ourselves in Movies

In this podcast, Ashley & Matt discuss various films where they do and don't identify with the characters, especially in situations where identification with/relation to the characters would seem obvious. From The Gilded Lily (1935) to Love, Simon (2018), and everything in-between, thoughts are shared on what it takes to recognize ourselves in those characters and situations that -- on the surface, at least -- are similar to and different from us.
