As the Coronavirus pandemic continues, and movie theaters remain closed across the country, Matt & Ashley delve into the cinematic archives this week for our latest podcasts. First up is a 2019 movie that has recently become available on streaming services, and DVD./Blu-ray. Next is a 2007 western remake about a man down on his luck who volunteers to escort an outlaw to his fate. Finally, we discuss a 2006 romantic film where two people who are two years apart communicate via letters through a magical mailbox. It's a bit of a hodgepodge here this week!

The world in the grip of the Coronavirus, and we here at Mashley at the Movies are on semi-lockdown. Movie theaters have temporarily shuttered across the country, and so for the next several weeks we'll be catching-up on cinema we missed (or decided to re-watch), and will be offering our thoughts on those selections. Up first, and in keeping with the times, we have 1995's Outbreak , and 1971's The Andromeda Strain . Both are films about some really nasty viruses. Then, we review 2017's The Bookshop , about, well, a bookshop. We hope you are staying healthy and well during these stressful times.

This week we review two very different movies. Up first is a thriller about a broken family that decides to spend Christmas at an isolated house, with a potential stepmother who has some dark secrets. Then there's the latest adaptation of an evergreen Jane Austen novel about a matchmaking young woman in early-19th century England.
